A skills based CV:
- Has a significant section dedicated to your skills.
- Skills will be grouped together in skill headings e.g. Communication, Leadership.
- Examples of how you have demonstrated each skill will appear under each heading. You can use a variety of examples from work, education, voluntary experience and interests.
- You can include a career objective or profile/summary at the start of your CV. A concise career objective can succinctly summarise what you can offer to an employer. However an overlong summary can make you seem unfocussed.
